Hardware Solutions has been providing quality architectural ironmongery and scheduling services since our founding in 1999. It is our mission to raise the profile and awareness of quality architectural ironmongery systems. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is to assist and guide architects, surveyors & builders in the scheduling and selection of the most appropriate products.

Company

Hardware Solutions is the sister company to AFP - Advanced Fire Prevention Ltd - who are suppliers and distributors of passive fire protection products.

We are members of the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers, and as Registered Architectural Ironmongers (R.A.I.), we are kept up to date with new standards by way of CPD seminars and exams.

Facts

On the average building, hardware costs are approximately 1% of the total material costs but amazingly, represent around 90% of future maintenance costs. We therefore concentrate on supplying products that conform to the new EN standards and which meet with DDA requirements for ease of access

We have been involved with a great variety of projects including historic listed buildings, modern public buildings and most types of new construction.
